Phoenix charity helps track team

Phoenix – The non-profit fundraising arm of the Phoenix Law Enforcement Association donated $1000 to Teleos Preparatory Academy in Phoenix to provide clothing, equipment and physical examinations for the school’s track team.

Representatives from the labor union’s {LEA Charities said they targeted underprivileged third and fourth graders at the central Phoenix school, 1401 E. Jefferson, St. PLEA represents about 2,500 rank-and-file Phoenix police.

Teleos, a non-profit school, educates students from Grades 3 through 8. President Mark Spencer said his organization partnered with Teleos for an “investment in the future development of underprivileged children.”
